Thanks to this unique exhibition, you will come face-to-face with the giants of the past and discover how they lived, evolved, and survived in environments as diverse as they were fascinating. From lush plains to icy poles, from dense forests to arid lands – each species adapted to thrive for millions of years.

Giant pandas, elephants, polar bears, orangutans, rare birds, gorillas, walruses… More than 800 species are protected at Pairi Daiza, in nine worlds where authentic buildings, varied plantations, semi-precious minerals and the rarest cultural wonders transport you to the five continents.

The mission of Pairi Daiza and its Foundation is to protect, conserve and save the wonders of nature. Reintroducing macaws to Brazil, protecting the orang-utans of Borneo, discovering the first vaccine to save baby elephants, creating the largest ‘natural’ forest in Belgium, etc. More than 20 projects are currently underway in Belgium and around the world.
