A major milestone has just been reached for Nova, the baby rhinoceros born at the beginning of 2025. After spending her first few weeks under the attentive protection of her mother, Ellie, she has finally met the rest of her family. A touching moment that marks a new stage in her development.

Under the watchful eye of her mother, Nova met Kodjo, her brother, Willy, her half-brother, and Madiba, Willy’s mother. This first interaction was gentle, with each animal taking the time to observe this new family member. Among them, it was Willy who was the most curious, cautiously approaching to discover this new addition to the family. Despite his playful nature, he quickly became intrigued by Nova, timidly trying to interact with her.

Throughout the meeting, Ellie remained vigilant, ensuring her little one was safe. A caring mother, she kept a close watch on every moment of this gradual integration, while also giving Nova the space she needed to build her confidence and natural instincts.

With this new step, Nova grows a little more each day and thrives in her environment. Her adventure is just beginning, and we can’t wait to follow her development alongside her family. Who will come to observe her during her next explorations?
