Spring Festival at Pairi Daiza!
Discover the gardens of millions of flowers
From 26 April 2025, Pairi Daiza will be transformed into a world of sensations, colours and plant poetry, offering families an unforgettable escapade in the heart of nature.
In an atmosphere that is both festive and contemplative, this Spring Festival celebrates the season of renewal with a series of artistic and floral installations designed to amaze visitors of all ages.
Spring in flower at Pairi Daiza
Since the end of March, more than a million flowers – tulips, muscarias, daffodils and hyacinths – have adorned the nine worlds of Pairi Daiza. Together, they form a living fresco of plants, where intoxicating fragrances and dazzling colours envelop visitors along the Floral Dreams trail.
Under the cherry blossom trees of the Islands of the Rising Sun, the park even offers a little Hanami, ephemeral and delicate, as a nod to Japanese spring. Every week, the gardens undergo a metamorphosis, offering an ever-changing spectacle of a thousand floral hues.
And from 26 April, Pairi Daiza will be sublimating this enchanted season with a spectacular display:
- Bouquets of giant flowers, up to 4 metres high
- 73 corten steel flowers elegantly sown in the paths
- A sky of more than 130 giant butterflies, floating above the majestic monumental staircase
These poetic installations promise a total immersion in the magic of spring.
Giant eggs - An open-air art gallery
Until 11 May included, Pairi Daiza is inviting you to extend the magic of Easter with an extraordinary exhibition: 23 giant eggs, veritable monumental works of art, can be discovered in all four corners of the park.
Each hand-painted egg reveals brilliant colours, dreamlike motifs and sublime tributes to nature. This unique exhibition brings together the talents of seven Belgian artists: Aldomak, Joëlle Daniau, Caroline Hoc, Dominique Maghue, Corinne Ministeri, Orlando Kintero and Sarah Vestris.
Scattered across the gardens and landscapes of Pairi Daiza, these eggs become open-air treasures, blending harmoniously with the park’s spring flowers and emblematic animals.
An artistic and sensory journey, perfect for capturing unforgettable moments of nature, art and wonder.
The flower hunt
From 26 April to 11 May, Pairi Daiza is inviting visitors to enjoy a floral adventure in the heart of its gardens. Around fifty colourful flowers, each 60 cm high, are scattered across the park’s 75 hectares. Eight of them hide a golden letter at their centre. Put the letters together and they reveal a springtime mystery word!
The game, designed for children, families and explorers at heart, is accessible via the official Pairi Daiza app.
Each day, three lucky contestants will win great prizes, courtesy of Floralux and Willaert Nurseries: a gardening kit (with trowel, seeds, insect hotel, notebook and pen) or pretty flowers to brighten up your home.
And the overall winner? He or she will be drawn at the end of the event to win an unforgettable stay for four in a Farmhouse Lodge at the Pairi Daiza Resort!
The spring babies
Spring, the season of renewal, also brings new life to Pairi Daiza. With the fine weather come the first babies of the year… and an adorable dose of tenderness.
You can already see the curious little faces of young wallabies and kangaroos, snug in their mother’s protective pouch. In the Land of Origins, the young lioness Nala is growing by leaps and bounds, now sharing the territory with her parents and big brothers.
Every corner of the park tells of a new birth, a new story… All the more reason to come and celebrate life this enchanted spring.
